Sastha Catering Services may be new to the market; however, the proprietor Venkat’s passion and zeal for lip-smacking vegetarian food seems to have been safely nurtured for over 35 years, eventually culminating in the founding of Sastha Catering.
I was looking for a new-generation caterer who was creative and innovative to experiment within the boundaries of our traditional South Indian Tam-brahm food. Sastha was recommended to me by my friend who was one of Sastha’s delighted clients. Although slightly skeptical in the beginning, I had no second opinion about his ability to create culinary magic after I talked to him and got invited to attend the grand opening of sastha’s 3500 sqft kitchen, where I got to experience a blissful lunch.
The food at my brother’s engagement ceremony was spectacular. I was delighted that our guests, about 500 people, enjoyed it. ‘Pal-adaiPradhaman’, ‘Malabar avail’, ‘lotus-root vadam’ and ‘yellow-pumpkin sambhar’ and ‘Pappadam’ were stars at the wedding. Much to our delight, Sastha had used pure ghee to fry ‘boondhi’ that eventually got transformed to aromatic ‘laddoos’. The ‘lemon-sevai’ that was served for breakfast was made with pure cold-pressed gingelly oil, and was heavenly.
I strongly recommend Sastha Catering Services to all of you out there who certainly want to make a statement at your weddings or parties through food, and impress your beloved guests.
